I have an all matching numbers Walther AC P38 that was produced in July of 1942 (F block). It has the original factory finish. Everything works perfectly, including the decocker. The bore looks good with no pitting.
There is more history to this P38 since it was issued to the Austrian Army after the war and their small BH stamp was added to the frame to identify that. The Austrians updated/upgraded the firing pin and safety lever, but can be reverted back to original easily from what I have read online. I don't have the original firing pin or safety lever. I have fired 16 rounds through this P38 with zero problems, and it has been put away thoroughly cleaned and greased since then. IMO, this P38 was not fired very much based on it's condition.
I installed very nice reproduction grips that are more suitable for this mid-1942 P38. Two like new post-war Walther 8rd mags. are included. There is a discreet import stamp under the barrel.
I'm asking $950 shipped CONUS to your FFL. Offers are welcome, thanks for looking. I'm located in Orland Park, Illinois.
