Australian/Tasmania SWAT Police HK P7 top quality leather holster w/extras Very COOL! RIGHT HAND

Long story short.. HA.. I'm Irish there is no such thing as a "short story"..

In the early 2000's I was a supply officer on a Navy Cruiser and we pulled into Hobart Tasmania... Yes, they do have devils..

We had just finished giving tours to the public and a few fellows walked up and one was in uniform. They were local cops but they were late. Since I was stuck on the ship for a "duty day" I really didn't have anything else to do since I couldn't leave the ship so I gave them a tour. They were quite thankful since they knew they were past the time for tours. They were some nice "blokes" and invited me the next day to come see their precinct. Sounded good to me and they even came and got me (no I was NOT going to drive on the wrong side of the road!). It was a nice tour and before they treated me to a pint of "Victoria Bitter", I noticed on the way out that they had a room that was being renovated and had a big box of these holsters all covered in dust. The main fellow said that their version of SWAT had done a test run with the HK P7 but decided not to keep them. What they got didn't fit in the holsters so they were tossing them. I asked if I could have a few.. and they LOADED ME UP.. I bought the pints of Bitter at the pub.

Actually, I found out that they got these with the German HK P7s from the German police so the holsters are German but the Aussies used them for a bit.

As you can see, this one looks barely used and has two belt attachments (if you want it higher or lower on your leg). Since I have a good number of these holsters, I tried my P7 and it fits like a glove (have more pics of the fit, JUST ASK!! )

I like the fact that there are some dates and maker marks on the leather.

I cannot convey enough that this is a Top-quality, heavy-duty leather. In my opinion, other P7 holsters sold on Ebay for 3-4 times more than my opening bids are not as high quality as this.

Actually, they have two "safeties" built in. The first is the snaps over the P7. You notice there are two. If you try to unsnap straight up.. The second one WILL NOT release. (see pic) I supposed they wanted that so if some bad guys tried to get at it, they would have a hard time. The only way to get them both off is pull the leather from the side... then both snaps will disengage. The other is the belt attachment. There are two snaps at the top which are simple enough but there is a spring loaded small "knob" which is locked into the holster. Unless you push up on the small button on the other side.. IT WILL NOT COME off.. Another cool safety feature so someone can't just "unsnap" you holster and run off.

The German police officer (Hottie) with this type of holster on..

The is just for the holster and the extra belt attachment. I need to keep my TAZ cop stuff..

Good luck.
