OK, there's a story here. Since retirement my wife & I have been travel-junkies. Somehow, she's convinced me to go on a cruise that will terminate in Sydney, Australia this fall. That's alright with me, but we've got to get back to PA sometime. I can't swim that far and 14-16 hours in a coach airline seat, back there with the ducks and chickens doesn't sound like a good way to end weeks of absolute gluttony and over-indulgence. So, here's the deal:
For the mere price of upgrading our miserable coach seats for business-class return seats, I am hereby offering my rare and highly sought-after, almost unobtainable, and possibly previously owned by a local celebrity(?) that had his own name permanently embossed (sounds better than "glued") onto the presentation case, a genuine Smith & Wesson Model 29-1!
Smith & Wesson Revolver, Model 29-1, Caliber 44 Magnum; sn S 229344; 3-Screw N-Frame, 8-3/8" BBL, Blue 98% condition; Original Cokes; Original Presentation Case in good condition, however has "W.S.Cover Jr" permanently glued onto its cover (I have no idea who he is, but he sure was proud of this revolver); all for the amazing price of $ 5,450 plus shipping and insurance. Some old photos are herein attached that don't really do it justice, but more can be sent if interested.
This gun is considered to be rare, and my wife has elevated my current marital status to "potential hero" if it sells and I get the return flight upgrades, so I'm firm on the price and I don't really care if it sells. All Forum Rules apply, and Thanks for Looking.
