**SOLD PENDING FUNDS** 1939 Non-Registered Magnum - Custom order 8-3/4" barrel
*****SOLD PENDING FUNDS*****
***I very much would like to see one of my fellow collectors end up with this scarce example of a custom order NRM in their collection. Will give this a while longer for fresh eyes. I realize this is a big investment for what could be a once in a lifetime chance to own such a scarce S&W and the chance to own one may not come along again!!***
Reluctantly offering up my pre-war 1939 Non-Registered Magnum that is one of only a handful known to have been shipped with a custom ordered 8-3/4" barrel.
Features the desirable HUMPBACK Hammer option and the condition is excellent as seen in photos.
All numbers are matching with the exception of the period correct checkered stocks. Also included is a correct box with some paperwork/tissue and SAT (Sight Adjustment Tool).
Front sight is a gold bead and rear is the "U" notch.
Timing on this one is spot-on and lockup is excellent, does not appear to have seen much use.
Also includes the Smith & Wesson letter confirming configuration.
This is a rare opportunity to add a truly scarce piece to your S&W collection so don't miss out!!
The S&W Catalog states that there were only approximately 1400 pre-war Non-Registered Magnums shipped as compared to over 5,200 Registered Magnums. And again, the custom barrel length is what makes this one extra special.
***ONE AND ONLY PRICE REDUCTION.....NOW ONLY $10,500***
My asking price is $12,500 shipped to your C&R or FFL (I feel my asking price is fair based on scarcity, but will consider a reasonable offer)
Your FFL must accept from a private party with copy of my drivers license.....I will ship to the lower 48 only and prefer NOT to deal with the paperwork required to ship to California.
***I am unable to find an FFL to ship in my area***
Payment to be bank transfer using the ZELLE app, Cashier's check from major US bank such as Wells Fargo, Bank of America, etc.
Other payment options may be available but must be discussed before commitment to purchase.
Post and "I'll Take It" followed up with a PM containing your name and contact information.
Feel free to email or PM me through the forum or give me a call at
four-two-five-785-0093 with any questions.
