Thinning the herd now that I haven't drawn a big game permit 3 years in a row.

Excellent H&R Cavalry Carbine, trapdoor, 45-70, Skinner ladder sight (close replica of the 1884 Buffington sight). This rifle is the 70s/80s H&R production, not current models. Function is perfect; the saddle ring has much blue worn off, but the stock and other metal finishes are excellent - $875. I purchased the rifle from Dwight Van Brunt at Legacy Firearms in Kalispell, Montana, in April 2018.

Price includes shipping to your FFL. Pics on request. Payment by personal check, e-check, (these will need to clear) or USPS money order. Send a PM for pics and I'll email those to you.

ADDED 5/5/22 - will separately ship 20 rounds HSM 45/70 Cowboy factory ammo, 405 grain lead bullet.

PICS ADDED 6/12.

First 'I'll take it' post gets the rifle.
