WTS , A great 1911 from 1918 , I bought this pistol in the white - pitted and all, had this bead blasted and blued it. This pistol is one of the best shooting 100 year old semi- automatics I have owned.
The Frame is a Remington UMC frame - Rem UMC only made about 21,000 of these pistols the serial # on this is 15,784.
The slide is a 1913 colt patent slide- the gun is all there very
clean . it has a Harrison Design trigger and a retro Harrison rear sight the lower pictures have the old sight I will include in package I also installed an arched mainspring housing which I will also include the original flat mainspring housing with lanyard loop when shipped.
The barrel has some frosting in it but rifling is pronounced and also under the grips there is pitting but not rusted as Pitting was remediated and blued.
The pistol is one great shooter - Better than a truck gun, I carried her for awhile and shot her once in a while.
I have ahrends grips and original hand carved full size 1911 grips on this in the pics I will include both grips, 2 mags and colt box also.
This in my C&R book I will take a C&R for it and ship USPS, other than that to an FFL also all forum rules apply
