Description : SOLD - S&W 1911 Doug Koenig model .45acp. 3.5lb trigger pull, over-sized 3 hole trigger, and fiber optic front sight all done by Greg Derr in November (Greg Derr - Precision Pistolsmith). The trigger is as tight as a dolphin's a**, no slop whatsoever like the the factory triggers S&W are infamous for. The trigger pull is smooth and even. This comes with an ambidextrous safety, over-sized magwell, and magwell extensions from the factory. The Evolution Gun Works hammer is also factory. I have all the original parts to put it back to stock if so desired. **The factory grips pictured are on another gun which is in Greg Derr's possession so I won't have those back for a week or two. In the meantime I do have similar grips w/o medallions.
The gun has a 1/2" mark on the seam where the frame meets the slide (pic below) and a couple spots on top of the slide. S&W will fix or replace the slide for free, but it's a 6-8 week wait and you don't notice it unless you're looking for it in bright light. I've decided to live with it. It's not as bad as it sounds but I'm trying to be honest.
I'm selling this because I don't like adjustable sights and I'd rather a black melonite 1911. I'll just get another SW1911 and do the same stuff to it. No FTF/FTE. Any questions please ask.
Accessories : 2 factory mags, all paperwork, original box.
Selling Terms: I'll ship from my FFL to your FFL - my dime. You pay transfer fee on your end. I accept paypal (+3%) or money order.
Price : $1050 b/o or trade for another 5" S&W with novak sights + cash - preferably model # 108285 - black melonite w/o front serrations. Maybe another government 1911. I have a commander already so no 4 1/4" please.
