This is a Smith & Wesson Model 17-2 S/N K661XXX.
I purchased this gun new approx. 1966. It is in excellent condition. It has been fired, but very little. It is a bright blue finish with the original S&W service grips. It has a 6" barrel and there is no holster rub. There is a very slight cylinder turn mark.
It comes complete with the original box, still in good (not perfect) condition. There is one small scuff on the side of the box that lets the white cardboard show.
It comes complete with the original cleaning kit consisting of cleaning rod, wire brush, wool mop and fluted screw driver.
I feel it is priced to sell at $ 800. If you pay the $30 FFL transfer fee I'll pay the shipping.
