SOLD Time to sell this hard to find Smith and Wesson Performance Center 4513 Shorty .45. This is one of 662 made for Lew Horton as an exclusive from Smith and Wesson in 1996. This one has been shot but, very little. It has some minor scuffs from handling and being in the safe with other guns. The front checkering has a few dinged marks where it must have bumped into something and being a soft aluminum frame, the checkering lost the battle.

This 7 shot pistol comes with two original magazines and the original plastic case with Performance Center and gun details end label. If you know about these special run Performance Center guns, you'll know why this is regarded one of the finest CCW guns ever made. A classic 3rd gen Smith and Wesson in large caliber. Stainless slide, hand fit titanium barrel bushing for enhanced accurace, Performance Center trigger job, 3 1/2" barrel, decocker, DA/SA trigger and Novak sights. Note the correct SFF.... prefix for the serial number and Shorty 45 markings on the slide are correct. All parts and internals are also numbered and matching from the PC shop custom work. This would be a fantastic addition to the collection but, also allow you to shoot it some or even carry if you like, due to that already being done. I'm really making it sound way worse than it actually is, so the purchaser will be even more pleased when they hold it in hand.

NIB guns have sold for over $2k. Because of the minor wear and use on this one, it's priced accordingly at $1450 plus $50 shipping. I'd prefer to sell but would consider trade/partial trade for most things Colt. I have it cross posted elsewhere as well, in case it sounds familiar.

I have plenty of pics that I can send via email or text. If you have any questions, PM me only and we'll go from there. Only reply on this thread if you're buying it.
