This is a nice and somewhat rare revolver. According to the "Smith & Wesson Standard Catalog" S&W shipped 200 of these revolvers in this configuration. I attach a picture of the text and as well as the S&W letter.
As for condition, the gun has been shot but looks pretty much flawless. I can't detect any blemishes in the blue (other than on the recoil shield). The cylinder shows a bit of a drag ring and a bit of carbon residue at the front.
Unfortunately I do not have the box for the gun. I am not the first owner, so I can't tell what the round count would be.
These are not for sale very often, so it's hard to say what they are worth if anything.
I am asking $1500 + $35 for shipping. SOLD ELSEWHERE
Maybe it's overpriced, maybe it's not. That's what I am looking to get for it. Not looking for trades.
