Is the point that the so called magic bullet passed through multiple layers of multiple people's clothing, skin, muscle and bone and this cartridge shown could do something similar?

Come on guys, it’s satire. It’s a play on or abstraction of both the Magic Bullet Theory (from the JFK Assassination) and the fact that there is no magic ballet when it comes to pistol calibers (because rule number one is “hit your target”). And to make my point I even humbly juxtaposed a picture of one of my beloved .357 SIG rounds in front of a picture of the old Texas School Book Depository where the alleged magic bullet was fired from. Boy, it’s a tough crowd when so many of us are suffering from cabin feaver! 😉

But will it work on bears?

State troopers have reported it as being very effective on black bears but it wouldn’t be my first, second, third etc. pick for their brown brethren (though even 9mm has been used to effectively dispatch brown bears on occasion).

What do you mean by "cabin fever"?

No Magic Bullet

Once thorough and objective ballistic analysis was performed, it became apparent that there was no magic bullet. I'm satisfied that the people who did the investigation, after the Warren Commission concluded, got it right.

We can agree to disagree. Lee Harvey Oswald's girlfriend Judyth Baker is a personal friend of mine and I am convinced he didn't even fire a rifle that day. There are a lot of facts left out of the Warren Commission report that the public didn't know about until Jim Garrison et al. investigated it later. Anyway, I won't get into it here because it's obviously not the right forum, but anyone wanting to look into the real evidence and testimony should visit Judyth Baker's Facebook page (and read her book Me & Lee).

Btw, are there any handloaders out there? I was curious if it's possible to reasonably (safely) load a 9mm parabellum cartridge that produces 500+ ft. lbs. of muzzle energy (other than .357 SIG). In other words, could we consider .357 SIG as a 9mm +p+, or would we need to make up an artificial analogy like 9mm +p++ or something like that? :)
