Some ask why I fly the flag today...

I fly 2 from the front columns every day. Just bought new ones. Always love to see them flying when they're brand new. God bless the red white and blue!

We fly an American made stars and stripes every day. Some days it just means a bit extra to us, than others because of the events that happened on those days.

My flag flies every day.

Looked for The Longest Day on tv. Could not find it. Went to the cabinet and pulled out the VHS tape and watched it tonight. I try to watch it every June 6.

I didnt hear anything mentioned about it on any news network,no movies on any of the stations that could play them. Nada. The closest any station got--was TCM who played: Soldiers Three--which has nothing to do with Americans--or D-Day--even though it was made here.

some ask why I fly the flag

You can purchase U.S. made flags through the American Legion on line. I believe they purchase from Annin flags and have a huge assortment of sizes and shapes. I fly six small ones on every holiday along with the POW flag in front of my lawn. Americans have forgotton what our flag stands for and the many sacrafices our brave men fought and died so our country could be free. The next flag day is flag day, June 14, and one good thing Obama stated is for the flag to fly the entire week to remind Americans to honor the United States Flag and to commemorate the flags adoption. On the same day, the United States Army celebrates its Birthday.
