Sometimes I'm a butthead

Whatever you do, if you run into some smart-mouthed
18 year-old, don't dare snap back at em...their parents
will be posting it on intarwebz, calling your boss at work,
making ethnic slurs, etc!

Only time I lend a tool is if I go with it. Previous to my policy, a few tools never came back and too many came back damaged because the borrower didn't know how to use it or what he was doing.
I now feel like we should be able to walk into any hardware store and buy a gun, but a permit/license should be required to buy carpentry, automotive or especially electrical tools to keep idiots from boogering up stuff, or even killing themselves or others.

One Marine mechanic told me his iron rule for loaning tools was "ID Card!"
I pride myself on always being polite and courteous.

Why are you a butthead?
You loaned him the wrench didn't you?

Thanks for reminding me, last summer Last summer I had a big blow up with my brother and his son, They borrowed my ramps oil filter wrench and large "C" clamp and never returned them. So I bought another set and refuse to let either one in my garage without my supervision.

No again.

Ummm
