My son is a full time firearms instructor and these are the muffs he uses. The ear cups are gel filled and replaceable. My hearing is not as good as it used to be so I wanted to be as possible when I shoot. Midway had a good price on them over Christmas.

I have used a pair of Sordin Supremes for several years until I switched to Peltors. The Sordins sound better, but I had several failures of the battery box. They got repaired under warrantee but it was a pain to be without them so I switched. Still use them for hunting and range use. I don't know if the battery box issue has been corrected with the new ones.

I bought a pair of Sordin muffs in October 2024. They have been problematic since new. They will work one day and then the next, they won't turn on. I have to remove the batteries and re-install them. Then they work, until they don't. It's an electrical contact problem. Cleaning the contacts and using a little deoxit cures the problem . . . until it doesn't.

These pricey muffs come with a 5 year warranty. Good luck on that. Sordin is in Sweden. They say within 5 years I have to deal with the seller. The seller is a 3rd party on Amazon. They say I have to send them to Sordin. Stalemate. My credit card company won't dispute warranty issues, only non-delivery issues. Amazon claims the return period is expired. I don't see any other way to resolve this. I like the muffs - when they work. But the lack of reliability is driving me nuts.

Love mine. Had mine for at least a decade and use them several times a week. They are VERY comfortable and have never failed me. I consider them to be one of my best shooting accessories purchases.
