I don't know where else to turn for pricing out some old colt handed down to me so here goes.

1st gun 70% 4inch positive .32 police no box or papers good bore lockup half way decent. SS# 217929

2nd gun 70-75% 5inch or 6inch barrel good lockup good bore new service 45-colt.
no box no papers. SS# 119952.

Can you please tell me the value of both gun and born on date and rariety. Thankyou Nick Sunny Fl.

Assuming the parts are all original, grips etc and they have never been refinished, I would put $200 on the Police Positive.

On the New Service, maybe $700.

For dates, google is your friend.

Your descriptions leave some things to guess work;

1) is it 32 colt or 32-20 (32 wcf)

2) the difference between 5" & 6" barrel is important

Pictures would help a lot determining originality of finish, grips, markings or any modifications. Without seeing it, my best WAG is;

1) +/- $300, mfg. 1926

2) +/- $600, mfg. 1916

Dates are from 'ProofHouse.com'
