South Carolina going open carry

I was used to seeing guns as a kid... and nobody freaked out about it... they were often stored proudly in a locked glass case. (I built several furniture quality gun displays for people over the years.)

Allowing residents to openly carry guns could cause difficulties for law enforcement officers responding to shootings, Bruder said.

"It muddies the water, plain and simple," he said. "We are going to look at anyone who has a gun and how do we know who the person is who is the good guy and the person who is the bad guy?"

The good guy is pointing his gun at the bad guy. The bad guy is pointing his gun at you. That's pretty simple.
