Installed them to help these elder eyes, very helpful in front sight acquisition, still able to hit center about as well as this poor marksman ever does. So for other elders rowing the same boat..

Looks a lot better than my sight picture.

How was the installation?

I bought my wife a used Glock with Big Dot sights, she hates it! She wants to take aim, instead of point and click! I shoot her gun fine (the right way!) She and I are both 64 and need the extra advantage, even if she won't admit it!

Sight is pretty easy to install, about 15 mins;
-knock the sight pin out and remove factory sight
-to fit the new sight it takes a bit of filing on each side of the insert slot. I blue taped the sight above the file areas to protect it, used a smal flat file a few strokes at a time per side until it would tap in gently
-using a matching bit drill from one side half way in, then drill from the other side until it passes thru.
-coat the sight pin with some blue Locktite, tap it in, go shoot.
I did it at the kitchen table with my armorer block, heres a good video explaining the process using a vise.

Thanks LCC

It’s a great “post”.

Pun intended
