I have always been interested in rockets, launches and recovery's. Yesterday they launched another Space-X mission out of Texas and it was the very first time they "caught" the booster. The catching devise looked like it was an exact fit for the booster's diameter and upon its return, the booster fired it's rocket to slow it down and slip right into the "basket". I was blown away!! Anyone interested in this can look at it on Youtube. I watched the launch portion as well if you are interested.
A far cry from the old booster landing somewhere in the middle of the ocean never to be seen or used again. According to Space-X the booster can be reused about a dozen times - talk about efficiency!
