Being single with no kids my refunds don't amount to much, so they don't last long. This year's entire refund was wiped out at a gun auction last weekend. Gladly drove for over 2 hours just to have a chance on finally getting one of my grail guns, the 3" 625-3. Well i got it, but one other eager bidder wanted it too, so it ended up costing me $875, but no taxes. BEN89XX

Also landed a 3" 24-3 LH (AEM08XX), w. Combats, which i didn't really need since i have the 29-3, but I couldn't let it go.

And my lust for the gorgeous 25-5 .45 colt, with case and wearing K/L frame Combats, made me spend a bit past my budget. I'll have to find some period correct Targets for it. I plan on using jacked ammo so the possibility of the throats being oversized doesn't matter. But i will have my gunsmith measure it for the sake of curiosity.

the 625 will be at the range tomorrow...can't wait!!!

Hey... you can't take it with you, so good choices! I am starting to "need" a 3" 625 myself. Nothing much beats a big bore Smith.

Very nice trio. I love the big bores as well. Those snubs just
scream business. Good purchase.

the snubs are my favorites for sure. there was also a 3" 624 up for bids, but it got too pricey. otherwise it would have been a snubs hat trick
