Here we have an Rare LNIB Smith & Wesson 686-3 4" Carry Comp. This was distributed by Lew Horton and only 267 of them ever made. This is one of the earliest revolvers and 686's to come out of the Performance Center in 1991. The Performance Center didn't even have the correct product code or carry comp assigned yet for the label, which proves this is a very early Performance Center offering. This gun is absolutely stunning and is like new in the serial number matching factory box with all factory paperwork and copy of Lew Horton letter. The gun rates 98-99 percent, give or take, with just a light handling mark or two. This gun is a time capsule; like it left the factory yesterday. Good luck ever finding another one of these this nice! This is the nicest 686 Carry Comp I have owned or seen in the last 10-12 years of collecting.
