I moved back last January and had to store some of my 22 LR ammunition in a storage facility. I have approximately 12,500 (+ / - a few hundred rounds) that got damp. It was not under water or soaked, but some of the boxes did get soft/damp. Some of the lead ammo has developed white oxidation on it and some is perfectly fine. After looking through it, I believe it should all fire with a few exceptions. This is a mixed bag of brands and some is even vintage. About 5 bricks are poured into the large box (brick box) in bulk as I wanted them totally dry before I stored them again and I did not feel like putting them back in he 50 round boxes.
I am selling this ammo for $400 (delivered) anywhere in the continental USA. I figure the freight will be at least $100 so there will not be any windfall here. If you are in SW FL and would like to pick it up - you can save $100.
I have posted pictures below and if you are seriously interested, PM me. If you want any additional information or more pictures I will gladly email them to you. I am being as honest as I can and expect that 97% - 98% of this ammo will work just fine. Some did not get oxidation at all, but I wanted to have them all dry out properly. Some might have to be cleaned if too tight, but most isn't that terrible and some perfect. Since this happened, all this ammo has been stored in an a/c environment.
Thanks,
