For sale: 1951 Combat Masterpiece
1951 Smith & Wesson Combat Masterpiece (Pre-Model 15) with semi-target, fishhook hammer and diamond magna grips. Serial number is K 118093. The revolver has been shot and has some areas that show storage/handling wear. All serial numbers including the grips match, and the revolver has the soft blue of the postwar guns. There is no end-shake and carry-up is correct on all chambers. There is no box or tools. There are no marks on the revolver indicating refinish or rework. The price is $475.00 including shipping which would be from FFL to FFL via USPS. The revolver came out of a local collection/estate. I took pictures in two locations to get the best resolution I could. Payment is requested by USPS Money Order. First "I'll take it" on the board gets it. Happy to try to answer any questions you may have.
There is about a 3'16" oval area of roughness/pitting over the "Off."
There is holster or storage wear at the muzzle and a bright spot on the right side of the front latch. There is also a small rough patch on the bottom of the latch.
There is some bluing wear under the "Smith & Wesson".
Right grip panel show usage. There is also a ding at the very bottom rear of the panel
Left grip panel has a small chip missing at the top of the horn.
