***SPF to Company Man, mods I will change to SOLD once transaction completed***I am selling my new in box, Colt Boa 4 inch .357 Magnum revolver. These have exploded in price over the past couple of years, due to the small number made and the desire of advanced Colt collectors to put together one of every Colt Snake gun. Some of you may remember I sold several of my S&W pistols a couple of years ago to help with my daughters college tuition. This year is the same deal, I thought I was going to list several S&W pistols, but decided to list this single uber rare Colt instead. Yes, it is a lot of money. I came at this price only after researching Boa prices for the most recent 12 months. The selling prices range from about $5,000, up to a high of $6,900, for NIB single revolvers. A 6 inch and 4 inch cased set on Gunbroker just sold for over $32,000! Therefore, I decided $950 under the highest sale was a fair asking price. This price is firm for now. If it does not sell in a few days, I will edit this ad to reflect consideration of best offers. I am listing it here exclusively, but reserve the right to kill this ad and move it to Gunbroker.
The revolver pictured is the exact one I am selling. I have owned it since new, it has never been fired, never dry fired, never loaded. It includes the box, original wrappings, hanging tag, various Colt papers, and owners manual. Please note the Boa was supplied with the manual pictured, a manual addendum sheet was enclosed telling the purchaser the manual included is to be used. I imagine the Boa was made in too limited numbers to bother with a new manual. (Only 600 made of each length).
Please look at the pictures. Note there is a faint cylinder line. This is from whatever testing Colt did, the revolver is new. These are the holy grail of modern Colt revolver collectors. I wish I could keep it, as these appear to be continuing to climb in price.
Fine print: Your FFL must accept shipment from non-FFL. I will send FFL copy of my drivers license and South Carolina CWP. I will need copy of the receiving FFL to satisfy UPS for shipment. I will give customary 48 hour inspection from time of receipt, for any thing related to condition or description. However, since I am using these funds very quickly for non-gun (college tuition) use, please be sure you really want this before buying, i.e. no buyers remorse. Please post I will take it in ad, plus send me e-mail for payment information. I will accept postal money orders, or verifiable bank cashiers check. Price includes insured shipping to your FFL. I can do FTF sale in South Carolina. Also, in the event I receive multiple I'll take it e-mails, I will go by the first I'll take it post in the ad as a "tie-breaker". Thanks!
