I'd prefer not to sell this, but things are what they are.
S&W Model 24-3 in .44 special, with round butt, blue finish and 3" barrel.
Factory combat grips. As you can see from the pictures, the right grip panel has more wear than the left. I can only presume that whoever fired it in the first place (I am the third owner) wore a ring and caused the clearcoat to wear off. Someone with better woodworking skills than I may be able to strip off the clear and re-coat them to restore their original beauty. I have a set of no-name aftermarket wood combat grips in great shape I will include at no charge. Once the gun is sold I'll have no use for them anyway.
Serial # is AEJ8xxx. Person from whom I purchased this said he thought it was a Lew Horton gun, but I have no proof and am not advertising it as such; I have no box or original tools or documents for it.
I am asking $725 shipped, or $675 FTF if buyer is here in the Greater Puget Sound area. USPS money order for payment. Offers will be considered, but as always an "I'll take it" has precedence over a "would you take XXX for it?" Unfortunately, I am not in a position to consider trade offers.
Thank you for you consideration.
