I just acquired the following, Pump action, from my Son-in-law Gary.

Springfield Model 67 Series E

12 GA 3" Chamber

Savage Arms, Westfield, MA.

Serial No. C248455

Can you tell me, the date of manufacture, please?

I have a very similar gun, only in 410. I don't know of a listing of SN date of Manufacture. Some earlier series Savage/Stevens shotguns allow you to fire and hold the trigger then cycle the action and slam fire, a desirable feature in a SD gun. Enjoy.
