I understand that the Squaeky Tennis Shoe season (aka the NBA) has been postponed. Is there any hope that the whole season can be be cancelled and I will not have to see or hear about it for a year? Be still my beating heart!

One can only hope.

Maybe it'll be like the cancelled hockey season. Nobody east of the Mississippi noticed.

I've heard the "open air" time will be filled with reruns of Rosie O'Donnel and the Ellen Degenerate shows. Maybe that's just in Chicago though.

I look forward to the BB games. While they're on the TV, the burglaries and armed robberies go down by 75%.

So I'll still watch neither hoops nor reruns.

Ouch. :D

A couple weeks and some will probably need food stamps and mortgage assistance.

The worst time of year is between the first part of February (after the Super Bowl) and the opening of Spring Training. As far as I know, there are no other televised sports on during that time.
What is this "NBA" of which you speak?
Jim

I haven't paid any attention to the NBA since the Seattle SuperSonics became the Oklahoma City Thunder. Thank you, Mr. Bennett and Mr. Stern. Not.

And we thank you for your generous donation to our fair state. :D:D

That said, I don't really care if those overpaid children ever play basketball again. I love watching a high school or college game live and in person, and I played the game myself, but I couldn't care less about the NBA.

Now if they'd just get rid of the NFL, the NHL, MLB, the ALTA and the PGA.

AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH! That is an unbelievably bad thought. I sentence you to 50 lashes with a wet noodle!
