So I've been on the hunt for some pre-war stocks for the modified Heavy Duty that came to me with later Magnas that are a tad short of flush with the bottom of the frame. They are in excellent condition however. SN 108263 stamped in the right stock. I had inquired here about this issue, and paplinker sent me a message about some stags on eBay that he thought would fit. I took the chance and bid to win them.
I think they will work just fine and add a little panache to the gun, considering the other modifications.

Thanks Rich!!!

Yessir! Good looking indeed. My HD came with these!

Glad they worked out for you Hugh!

Learning that pin hole distance by sight is a big hint and has served me well. Of course I bought a trans N frame myself and sold my spare set a couple months back. Now I need another set.

Those go perfectly on your HD. I kinda like how the hammer spur was thinned as well, at least it looks that way to me. Any guesses as to why?

Another one I wish could talk.
