That old "line" of "I'm gonna divorce her and marry you," is an old one . . . coming further down the line from the classic, "I just want to hold yer hand, darlin.'

In the end, he was killed for using the wrong head . . . yet one more time. Ultimately, that's what he'll be remembered for.

I can't believe the cajones on this guy...

...buying an Escalade for his mistress and putting it in both their names
...being freely photographed with her on vacation
...shacking up with her in a condo he 'shared with a friend'
(doesn't everyone share a condo in case they need to 'get away from the fam' every now and then?)

Either his wife knew and they had an arrangement, or she (the wife) clearly wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, and McNair wasn't real worried she'd find out about his 'friend'.
