I just watched the premiere on A&E of this series on the internet.
It is pretty good. He is an incredible shooter. He is shooting matches at 40 feet, teaching another officer to shoot.
It looks to be a fresh new approach to reality TV.
Anyone else see it tonight? I think that it premiers on the A&E Network on Dec. 2nd.

I caught the last few minutes where the cop just made the cut shooting a 97, one over the limit. Not sure how they were scoring, but he had a lot of shots to the lower ab.

How did Seagal look? Last time I saw him in a movie he appeared to be bloated. Is he huge now? Does he still have a fetish for different coats? In some movies I swear he has a different coat in every scene.

He's somewhat bloated.
Seems in pretty good shape. He was running and did not seem winded.
No coats in this series.:D

He is a lousy actor but apparently pro gun so I will watch his show in support.

Years ago he was in front of my booth at a Safari Club International show I was impressed by his height and he was very thin. He was a speaker at that show so he is also supportive of hunting.

I always liked his fighting techniques in his movies...a bit more realistic than most chop and kick films...of course, nothing holds a candle to the Jason Bourne style...:)

I lost interest in him when he caved in to the mafia. Some tough guy, except when it comes to real life.

This show has to be better then that awful Eric Estrada, Latoya Jackson reality police show awhile back.

Hope he's a better Deputy than he is a actor. But he doesn't need to wear a vest as he is bullet proof.

Since when is that guy an actor? I thought he was an action movie star. Is Chuck Norris an academy award winner? Stallone? None of those guys can act worth a squat, but they can shoot/kick people!

A friend of mine a trained Korean Black Belt met him at some Marshal Arts event years ago and said he was as good as he makes out to be.(Marshal Artist) not actor. He also commented on his height and slim body then. He has put some around the waist from his last flicks. He appears to use the Israeli style of 1911 shooting rather than a isosceles method favored now. sort of a modified Weaver stance.....I understand he was quite proficient. He did come out of nowhere and sort of has that mysterious image. I had read that he is involved in a law suit that has curtailed the quality and quantity of his movies. The suit involves ownership of movie rights or sold I read.

I've only seen a trailer of his show, sure seems to me he's playin to the camera. He's also adopted street slang...""when we tell ya to "getoutdacar"you getoutdacar!"But I'll give him the benifit of the doubt and watch 3-4 episodes before I decide.

I think ole Steven lives around here in Memphis of all places. I remember reading a year or so ago where they had to gate his community due to all the onlookers driving by his place just to get a look. If I'm not mistaken I think I remembered that he had an ill son that was being treated at St. Jude Hosp. He is an avid blues music lover and also plays blues himself on guitar. I've never seen him around town, however I never saw Elvis either (or his house) in the 53 years I've lived here.

He has a home in Eads, but he doesn't live there all the time. He has several other homes around the country.

I bet he does. He was popular here in the states for a long time, and that usually means overseas he's like some mega-star. I doubt he is starving or lacking adequate housing! (And he's getting free advertising right here!)

Seagal was born in Lansing, Michigan and lived there for a time as a child. Given my own experiences there as an adult, that might explain why Seagal is a bit... different.

Aside from his noted skills in akido, preference for the 1911 (which he's show carrying on duty in promos for the series), and so on... Let us not forget that he also fancies himself a singer songwriter, Native American rights activist, environmentalist, and herbal snake oil salesman (he shills an energy drink and herbal formula of some type). Oh, and he also finds time to help save Tibet.
