Found one in 45 acp and fell in love. The MOST accurate pistol (more so than my Les Baer PII and my CZ TS) that I have or have ever shot. I know a guy that has one in 9mm...really what I was looking for when I found the 45. He says the same about his Target Master. Being that I looked for a great condition TM of either caliber for over two years (they were discontinued a few years ago) and only found the 45 a few weeks ago, I was very surprised and pleased to find a LNIB 9mm a week ago. Two in a couple of weeks!
Anyway, here they are...

They look like real nice guns. I came close to buying a Trojan in 9mm.

I was looking for a 9mm 1911 that was a little more accurate then normal and I liked the CZ’s with the single action trigger on the Tactical sport. Friend has an STI Trojan in 9mm with the reliability package and a mag well, I looked at it and it was nice. I hesitated and was watching various sites and a CZ 75 CTS shows up on Armslist for the same price as the Trojan. I own the CZ.

We need a range report on the STI’s you bought especially the 9mm so I can see if I made a mistake. Good luck with 2 nice guns. Will shoot the CZ on Tuesday. Larry

Well, I'll give a report after I shoot both tomorrow. I have already shot the 45...I have a hard time myself, believing what this gun will do. At 10 yd, 24 rd thru one ragged hole about 2.5". The first 16 rd looked like the hole made by a 20 ga slug. At 50', I had a few 2-4 shot clusters, all within 4"...No one hole group from there...yet!
I have extremely high hopes for the 9mm. The gun appears to be shot VERY little! Really, I don't know that other than the two factory cases provided, that it was shot at all. When I took it apart to inspect/clean it, there were no wear marks on A N Y T H I N G. No marks at all! The triggers both break at 3# 5 oz, but the 45 is obviously much more "used". It feels much lighter. The 9 feels like 3 1/4#...but not as refined as the 45. Also, the 45 has a .100" front sight blade (.330" tall) and the 9 has a .125" wide front sight. Same height. I only looked at them because I had seen that Dawson Precision has FO sights specifically for the Target Master series. With my aging eyes, FO fronts work better for me.

Have one in 45 ACP as as well. It is such an accurate pistol it can sometimes make you question why shoot any more loads. It's a favorite in my 45 stable of pistol's.

I had a Trojan 9mm and used it for a season. It was accurate and had a great trigger, but magazines were an issue with the first round nose dive into the feed ramp. I got tired of buying and trying to find mags that would function with a full load. Also the "blue" finish was worn from holster wear. Might have been ok for bullseye or PPC. It would be no match for my CZ Shadow Target.

I have a Trojan in 9mm, never had any problems with it. Very accurate. Only thing I own that might beat it is a S&W 3566 Limited that has a Briley 9x19 barrel on it. It is not as reliable as the Trojan.

That Target Master looks like a really nice gun!

Strange, about the mag issues. I have tried 7 different mags in the 45, no issues at all. I’ll try four different 9mm mags tomorrow.
My CZ 75 TS was my most accurate pistol...was being the key here. I still like the TS, but even though it has a really light SA trigger, and is heavy enough for added stability, the Target Master really leads it by a fair amount.

Curious, after rereading your post, you say that the Trojan would be no match for the CZ? In what discipline? IPSC? USPSA? I have no experience with that model (Trojan). But if it was as accurate as you say, was it just capacity that was an issue? Because both Bullseye and PPC are rather demanding in the accuracy department. While IPSC/USPSA is a “get a bunch of lead on a rather large target fast”, kind of deal. Not really a precision game like Bullseye or PPC. So I could see the capacity issue.
Side by side, my Target Master, even though a 45 as compared to my CZ TS in 9mm, is far easier to shoot accurately. For me accuracy and precision, not speed, is the way to go.
