Just got back from the range with my new to me model 60.
The extractor sticks and feels gritty oly when the cylinder is rotated to a specific position. Rotated to any other orientation and it works smoothly. Anyone have any ideas?

I wood take the cylinder off and clean the rod and check it.

NightOwl is probably right... BUT...
Try the easy way first. Flush the heck out of the area with BreakFree CLP.
Perhaps you have some residue causing the problem

I would think residue would affect it no matter what the orientation, but it's a cheap way to rule that problem out.

Thanks for the reply's.
I have disassembled and cleaned the extractor and cylinder.
Next stop, gunsmith.
