I am considering picking one of these up for my 40 Sigma, for general purpose use. Does anyone here own/use one with the Sigma (9 or 40)? Would you recommend it, or an alternative? I have considered and rejected a Blackhawk Serpa and Fobus.
I realize that a SW40VE is a pretty big pistol to conceal with a belt holster.

I'm using a Fobus w/ my Sigma. For thirty bucks, it works quite well. May I ask why you don't like the Fobus?

I don't have any info on the holster you're considering; sorry.

I don't have any experience with the Fobus auto holsters, but I have one for a k-frame revolver. I don't really dislike it, but I don't like it well enough to buy another one, plus most of the Fobus holsters sold locally are paddle holsters, I would prefer a belt holster. Holsters are a pretty personal thing, in my experience. Its actually easier to explain why I rejected the Serpa, I have one for my Sig P220, great open carry holster, but the top hangs too far away from my body for any reasonable concealment.
