I recently bought an S prefix 27-2 3.5" with the presentation box but the stock circles for the non-relieved diamond center target stocks were missing.

I've read about and seen pictures of Curtis Harlow's work so I asked him about repairing these for me. He told me that I could probably do them myself and he offered to send me the parts I needed but I also had this other set of K frame stocks that were badly dinged up so in short he agreed to "fix up" both sets.

A couple of days after he received the stocks they were finished and on the way back to me. Here are the before and after pics:
N frame target stocks before:
and after:

I believe he may have replaced one of the medallions-I'll have to follow up with a couple of close up pics (later).

The K frame stocks were badly gouged when I got them:

this is a set I use on my 14-2 SAO but the .38 brass always hung up on the stocks so I asked Curt to cut a football relief and this is what he did:

since both pairs will be used at the range I didn't opt for the full restoration but I am more than pleased with how they turned out.

I am glad I contacted Curt about these "small jobs" and I really appreciate the fact that he was more than willing to help me out--
Thank you, Curt!

jcelect also helped me with the 4" presentation case that came with the 27--I neglected to take pics of the busted hinge and the damaged liners but with his help the 27 has a new home (I will take pics and post in a day or so).
