Everyone agrees that CA gun laws are nothing we want, this is curious. Seems the homeless can have a registered firearm. Per the November Armed Citizen Paul Deleon, a homeless man saw a woman being attacked and sprayed the attacker with pepper spray. The attacked returned shot at Deleon who returned fire. The odd piece here is being able to register a firearm there with no dwelling. I would have thought that a dwelling address would be needed for the process.

Agree with that just surprised at no permanent dwelling as a requirement. Anyway this guy is more with it than most of the homeless I see.

He probably uses a homeless shelters address to have mail sent to. The homeless here do that, or use some other agency Addy as theirs, like the Salvation Army etc. I sometimes over hear conversations going on.

He could have legally purchased the firearm BEFORE becoming homeless.

I have heard that in some cities there are convenience stores, liquor stores, etc. which let homeless people use them as their address. Probably not for nothing.

That's also part of food stamp fraud. Sell their stamps to store owner or someone else for 1/2 or less value, pay store owner for use of his address.

That or one of those weird people who actually has an address but for whatever reason lives like a homeless person
