It’s a Fisher for sure Jim. I’m not far from you on Catt Co Allegany Co line. I see them all the time. Some call them Martens some call them Fishers. They are nasty little guys. I’ve seen them chase coons up a tree. They are also nest raiders. They play hell on turkey population.

It's a fisher. Here is one my SIL captured one on her trail cam a few years ago in northwest PA. Martens are small in comparison to a fisher.

I'm with those of you who say Fisher but the answer is very location driven. Fishers are larger than Martens. Definitely not a Wolverine IMO.

It does look like a Fisher but it doesn't look as mean as others I've seen lol.

The Marten isn't a bad guess since they are in the same family but they are smaller than the Fisher.

Since it was spotted in the Southwest of NY near PA that is well within their range. I really think it's a Fisher...
