Midway has a striker assembly in stock that fits the M&P,M&P compact,.357 Sig and 40SW.
Midway shows the S&W part # as 393790.
S&W parts list shows the striker assy. as number 269130 for the 40VE.
Anyone know if Midway's striker assy. will fit my SW40VE?

Thanks for the reply.
Any idea where I can find a striker for the SW40VE?
Mine is ok for now but that is one spare part I would like to have on hand.

I have used Sigmas for loaners and trainers for over a decade, and only keep spare recoil assemblies. Nothing else has broken yet.

Just a heads up, various part numbers for SW40VE strikers have been used, so your best bet is to call S&W with your serial number and try to buy one to match what you have if you really must have a spare. Good luck.

There are several posts here about broken strikers and all say that the pistol must be sent to S&W to get a new one installed.
I have installed a new front sight and done all the trigger mods and have the trigger pull down to 6lbs. with no failures after around 500 rounds.
As best I understand it, S&W will replace all the parts to bring the pistol back up to stock if you send it in for repair.
Guess I'll just wait til something breaks and face the problem
of putting it back in stock condition then.
Strange that strikers are available for the pistols listed in my op but not the 40VE.

I'm guessing because the Sigma was not looked upon as a good pistol.
They also are not as popular as M&P'S.
