Does the striker block in the M&P have anything to do w/ how the trigger resets? I notice the block is similar the one in a cz75 or 1911 but I don't see a lifting lever. If that's the case I don't see how the block will have anything to do w/ how short the reset is.

Hey there, I think if you replace the striker block it makes for a smooth pull but not a shorter reset. I think the sear is responsible for that? Don't quote me on that lol, ask the guys at Apex tactical and they can steer you in the right direction...this is the video I posted of the comparison of standard vs Apex in the M&P section...maybe I should post it in this part of the forum too? Apex sear and striker block installed (my reset is way shorter now)

Combine the Ultimate Striker Block (USB) and the Duty/Carry Action Enhancement Kit (DCAEK) with the Reset Assist Mechanism (RAM) and you will have a completely different firing handgun. The RAM positively resets the trigger bar with an audible click, and if your trigger spring fails you can still push the trigger forward and keep firing. Yea they do cost a bit but for a smoother takeup, approx. 5 lb. pull and improved reset they are well worth the money! And if you have any ability to gunsmith you will find them easy to install.
