Have watched this C.E. movie many times and most recently caught the scene that Harry is trying out a 44 auto mag with some range practice. He seems to like the 44 auto mag OK, but finishes up with his model 29 as its more to his liking. Thought it was a cool movie scene that really was not part of the movie plot, but still glad it was included.

Target practice is always good and maybe it added some realism to the movie.

CORRECTION: Movie was Sudden Impact with Dirty Harry

I figgered that scene was just to introduce the Auto Mag, so when the 29 got dumped in the harbor, he had a believable reason for bringing out the other gun.

Otherwise you'd be sitting there saying, "Where'd that damn Auto Mag come from?"

Edit: Never mind. I was thinking Dirty Harry, Sudden Impact. Have not seen Sudden Death. That's Jean-Claude Van Damme, right?
