Hello all! Can anyone in North Carolina (or more familiar than I) recommend any gun shops or dealers? Online sites are ok, but I'd rather put my hands on a gun and speak to a real person. Thanks!

Cherrys Fine Guns in Greensboro has real nice stuff, pricey, but they deliver as described. No retail outlet just internet sales, they have a website.
I've purchased some from them, never disappointed.
Fuquay Gun and Gold in....Fuquay-Varina
, closer to you, has a brick and mortar shop. I've been in there while visiting the area, nice people, loads of guns.

If you will be in the Charlotte area, Hyatt's Gun Shop is a must. It's on West Independence Blvd and is easy to find. Go to their website for a look-around.

Village Pawn & Gun in Wadesboro, (about 15 miles west of Rockingham on Rt 74. Good selection, new and used, with typical pawn shop prices that are negotiable with one of the "higher-ups" in the store.

Hyatt Guns is located at 3332 Wilkinson Boulevard in Charlotte. There is no West Independence Boulevard in Charlotte.
Cherry's does have a retail store. It's located at 3408 West Wendover Avenue in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Cherry's isn't usually open on weekends, and is sometimes not open during the week. They suggest you call before visiting to make sure they are open.

For sheer volume, I'd list two, 1. Mackey's Landing Guns on Hwy. 64 in Jamesville
2. A shop where I used to work, Perry's Gun Shop in Wendell.

+1 for Cherrys, though need to correct the post from above. They most certainly do have a retail shop off of Wendover Ave in Greensboro. Walk-ins welcome and invited. They have a good web-site that describes their inventory, but no need to just shop on-line - just pop on over. I have always found Kevin and Gurney to be straight up, honest guys.
