Sunday, October 29th is National Cat Day!

I have a rescue cat names Henry so I will let him know it is Nat. Cat Day.
Usually when I tell him stuff like that he bites me.

Being "north of 49", where we don't generally get too het up about things, Smudge and I marked the occasion quietly this morning.

Somebody asked me what had changed around the house since the new kitten arrived. I told them, the 3 most common words now heard around the house are: OUCH, **** & NO!!!!!!!!

What timing! On cat day nonetheless!

We found mites on one of the cats so Ruthie ordered us all to battle stations. We have given them all the dip treatment but for the two heavyweights who have run to ground.

Even with work gloves I would rather replace the filament in a running weed eater.

I have alerted the blood bank.

National Cat Day evening: pretty much like the morning. (Post #25)
We like equilibrium :)

EDIT: I should mention that there was activity in the time between those two pics. An interesting (but tricky) gun-related project for me, and Himself took off into the property across the street as he sometimes does (much to my annoyance), presumably in the search for The Perfect Rodent, not returning until after dark, mission unaccomplished and hungry.
