Sunsetter Awning

Years before Sunsetter was founded, we got a retractable awning installed over our patio by Roll-up in Holbrook. It finally made our furnace-hot treeless southern exposure usable. No more chasing a tiny umbrella shadow around a table.

I'm sure the awning helps. It's the $200.00 limited offer, they have had for so long that gripes me.

Shop JC Penny. Same sale signage all the time. The trick is to look for two signs above the items, for compounded sales. Scored points with hubby, on a stack of 20 dollar Tommy Bahama shirts I brought home. ;)

There was a carpeting store here that had a going out of business sale for years. Heck, they may be into the 2nd generation by now [emoji1787]
they must have one of they're stores here in Kentucky ,they do the the same thing ,for about 10 years or more now ,i thought somebody would get them for false advertisment by now lol

Has anyone had done business with this company, if so how did it work out?

I've got a great back deck, but do to exposure I cant enjoy it much of the year.

I wouldn’t put a Sunsetter on a single wide ;) garbage imo. Spend the extra bucks and get something that adds value and comfort.
Plenty of awning companies out there.

Thats a very good question!. Seems to be a lot of bashing but has anyone had Actual experience? Just because of a crummy ad.

Look up the reviews and how long in business.
We don';t seem to have them around here. There are many awning, screening. window and hurricane shutter companies here!

This may explain the run on toilet paper. For 200 bucks they make the awning out that rather then canvas.

No one has mention the worst offender of "perpetually on sale" companies? Well in that case, let me present Harbor Freight to the list...

Never had awning, but my parent's house is in the mountains and has a small patio that overlooks the valley. In the summer, it is a scorcher to sit there, even when it is relatively cool just because of the altitude and brightness. The put on a retractable awning and it makes life in the summer extremely pleasant! It lasted about eight or nine years before it needed to be recovered as the canvas started to come apart. In their case, it was money well spent.

My experience with fabric awnings is they look great when they're new but after a few years they look faded and worn and the bird poop, dirt, and trash from the trees can't be totally washed off and they don't look so good. A well built wood framed awning with shingles or metal roof that blends with your house should add value and last as long as the house does.
