Good news that your 15-22 is on the way back to you. Another FedEx truck rider.

Gunsmiths have got to love Remington Golden Bullets. Gets them a lot of repair business. ;)

Looking forward to pics and range report.

I have always had responsive service from S&W. 3 years ago I purchased a new model#500 and noticed the rear sight was slightly bent. Returned to the gun shop who shipped it back to S&W & I had it back in 5 days and I live 1,200 miles from their factory. I guess this is why we pay a higher price for this brand and well worth!!!

Well there has been at least one person here that got all bent out of shape with us for dissing Remington, but I will continue. I will NEVER buy any Rem ammo again, any caliber. I had yet another dead primer out of a 9mm MegaPack this w-e. Also was at Gander Mntn Saturday looking around, overheard a guy who had issues with his 15-22..extractor...and he was shooting Rem ammo.

Great to hear! According to Fedex tracking, mine will arrive at S&W on the 20th. Based on your experience, it may be on its way back before Thanksgiving :)

Look forward to the post hospital report.

Thats great to hear, congrads, I couldnt be happier with my first s&w product and there service.

Shipping???

Well...........
Repair department seems to be on the ball, BUT,
Shipping seems to be asleep...
My gun was sent from repair to shipping last Friday.
It is still sitting there waiting to go on its truck ride home.
Maybe, just maybe they are waiting to add my FREE MAGS to the box. Hope they have some, seems like they are on backorder everywere....

I haven't been this excited to see the FedEx guy in a long time.

That does seem like a long time in shipping....maybe workers have the flu or something and items getting backed up.

On the road again

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

15-22 is taking a ride on the FedEx truck.
Should arrive tomorrow.

I "HOPE" this will be a great weekend........

My M&P15-22 arrived at S&W this morning. What kind of correspondence should I be looking for? Do they call or email you when its on the way back?

Thanks in advance

I got no heads up or email when my rifle was returned. The FedEx guy just showed up. And a signature will be required, so someone will have to be at home when it is delivered.

As far as what they did to my gun, they just said that they upgraded to current specs. And they sent me two new magazines for my troubles.

Got my 15-22 on September 4th at Academy, ,Academy sent my gun back for me, and thats who s&w sent it back to. I called s&w several times while they had it, getting the current status of it. Last couple of times i had called them, they told me it had been mailed back and gave me the tracking #. On the paper work, they said they replaced Extractor. Since then, they dont tell you exactly what they did.

Its back

:)
Got mine back yesterday.
Range trip today was fun fun fun.....

They will not contact you, so I called and they
were very good at giving me the status.
When they told me it shipped, they gave me the tracking number and I knew when it would arrive.
