Hi there, anyone here try the following or any Swiss made ammo. 560 Round Can - 7.62x51mm 150 Grain FMJ Swiss Military Ball Ammo Made in Switzerland by Saltech

Brass Case, Boxer primer, Non-corrosive, non-magnetic boat-tail projectile. Observed lots were 2018 Manufacture

20 rounds per plain unmarked box, 28 boxes per M2A1 metal ammo can.

Price looked fair to me. Only one review listed so not a lot of input. The swiss make fine firearms and watches and such, never heard a lot about their ammo. Any input would be appreciated!

Like their cheese, the Swiss prefer ammo that will produce holes.

It’s good stuff.

I have used 7.5x55mm Swiss ammo made in Switzerland and it was high quality ammo. I see no reason why their NATO ammo wouldn't also be well made.

New one on me. I supposed that they do make it but to tell you the truth I've never seen any nor have heard it was being manufactured. If Switerland is a Nato member then they probably do make it and should be made to nato specs. Frank

I don't know if Switzerland is a NATO country, I just said NATO ammo because that's what 7.62x51mm ammo is usually called.

NO, Switzerland is not a NATO nation. Famously neutral.

Likely made for export since they don’t use it in their own weapons. That’s not to say it isn’t good quality. I’d expect it to be very good, but have no proof of it being so. Unless you are looking for super match quality, I doubt you will go wrong with it at any reasonable price.
