My work unit was self described as "The Land of Misfit Toys" just as the the marines had the "Black Sheep". Basically a bunch of guys that had issues with BS but got things done and wasn't afraid to have fun. My nickname was Klondike Cornelius and my partner was a " Charlie in the Box".

Don't forget he is a soulless ginger as well... just like I was in my early days... lol

Not really, he just started Mexican Carrying back in his youth when he was known as "Cancun Cornelius"!

Yeah some of that stuff is amazing. What passed for acceptable back in 1964!
If I'm not mistaken, a scene was edited from "E.T. " that originally had a LE officer at a roadblock type setup holding a riot shotgun, and ET and the kid just fly over them on a bicycle. I believe the riot gun was "edited" out in a subsequent cut.
I could be mistaken, its literally been decades, but I think so???
