I think I only saw one player (in the regular season, can't remember which player or team) take a knee. Pretty sure he isn't from this country so while it was mildly annoying I gave him a pass.

Wonder how many of the players are citizens? A number of the Astros are from other countries and conducted themselves perfectly at the opening ceremonies. They are good representatives of the team here in Houston as well. We have some very good young men in pro sports here in Houston and have had very few problems from any of them over the years and many good things they have supported financially and personally.

Baseball players are held to a higher standard than many other athletes. Only one player for the A's took a knee this season that I know of, and it was only once I believe. I'm sure his war veteran father was thrilled to see that..

IMHO; baseball players conduct themselves in the highest standard of professionalism. The NFL displays the lowest standard of professionalism of any pro sport. Over 50% ( 871 of 1696 players) of those clowns are convicted felons )
