Take your Case to a Higher Court - 5 foot ladder Black Friday sale at Lowe's.

Really handy to have around. 5-ft is plenty in most houses.
Buy an extra to LOAN to the "friend who never returns ..."

Werner 5-ft. Fiberglass 225-lb.
Type II Camo Step Ladder for $19.00
as part of its Lowes Black Friday Sale 2014.

On page 27 of the Black Friday ad.

Thursday morning newspaper ad

Home Depot ad show a 4 foot Werner Type I Fiberglass ladder rated for 250 pounds for $17.88

4 Foot is enough to use with the typical EIGHT foot ceiling. I use one.

I THINK they are also going to have some Maglight LED lights on sale. These are the ones that use 2 D battries.

I've got one of their 3-cell D LED lights, and I like it a whole lot. Just talked a friend into buying one this morning (he was leaning toward a $200 fancy 1000-lumen light, but I convinced him that Maglight's $27 (from Amazon) version was fine with its 625 lumens. :)

Flashlight is NOT MagLite brand.

$19.97 WAs $39.97
Utilitech 1000 Lumens LED
Handheld Flashlight #569178

$15.97 Was $29.97

A GOOD ladder is cheaper than a trip to the emergency room.

I already own 4ft, 6ft, 8ft, and 10ft step ladders... AND 20ft, 24ft, and 32ft extension ladders.....

But I don't have a 5 footer.....

Just the type of response one would expect from someone on this forum :D Very similar to "sure I have a .44 but I don't have a snub .44".

This is good news, I'll look into it. I just had some work done on my house and the guys had a 5ft ladder and I was thinking how useful it would be for me to have one instead of using a chair to change out my smoke alarm batteries or a light bulb.

ADDING a 4 foot Werner Fiberglass ladder at Home Depot $17.88

This ladder is rated for 250 pound user.

4 foot is fine for the typical 8 foot ceiling. I use one from previous year sale.

A 4 foot ladder is easier for my woman friend to get around the house. I received lots of cookies as "Thank You" for the ladder ...

This is what I ended up getting. I was up at 5am and could not believe how many people were at Home Depot. Hat to admit that it was a little fun. Got a nice box cutter and some batteries. Also ended up with some poinsettias. They were 99 cents so I got six. They look good in the house.

I bought 4 of the 5 footers. I kept one and brought the others to work. They aren't quite as heavy duty as the ladders we normally use, but were a good value and we should get some good use out of them. At home it will last for many years.
