Would you jump on a 1076 that was clean with 1 mag and no box at $550 OTD? BTW, it does have the mag-disconnect warning on the slide and is a TFE prefix if that matters.

I'm a 10mm fan, but am having pulling the trigger on this one, box and 2 mags and it would probably be sitting at home with me right now.

What say you? Like I don't already know the answer from this crowd

All I'll say is I enjoyed the heck out of putting 200 rounds each thru my 1006 and 1076 yesterday afternoon. Trigger takes some getting used to especially if your used to 1911s but when you do....!

FWIW, my particular 1076 is put together better than my newer 4566 and shoots more consistant than any of my SIGs.
10mm? why NOT?

By the way, neighbor, that'd be a fair price around these parts providing it isn't all stove in...

I'd buy another at that price..

Who needs another gun that punches holes in paper like all the other guns? Wouldn't that cash be better spent as jewelry for the wife or maybe some new knick knacks for the house?

"Jewellery for the wife......."

That's funny as all get out.

Actually, I tell my wife that guns are to men, what jewellery is to women.

1076s are quite nice. Took some pics of mine this a.m.

Mine has had the factory refurb, but still has the mag disconnect onboard.

I like the gun a lot because it hits plenty hard (right now I'm carrying it with Double Tap 180-grain Gold Dots that do 1298 fps from the 4.25" barrel), it's flat and compact, holds 10 rounds, it's a tank, and it has a short barrel that makes it most comfortable for appendix IWB carry. Frankly, it carries as easily as my .40 P 239. Another plus is just sheer pride of ownership: the caliber's great, this is a "gun guy in the know" gun, and the lines of the thing are just lovely. Downsides are that the trigger's not the best, I hate chasing the brass (and I feel I need to reload for it given ammo costs), it's heavy, the mag disconnect, and despite it's being heavy it actually has a pretty noticeable amount of recoil if fired one-handed. Oh, and mag costs aren't low, but I have six of them so it's not really an issue for me.

Prices on these things seem to just keep going up, up, up. Mine (with aftermarket night sights and five mags total) cost me $375 the summer before last, but that was from a friend.

Erich,is this kind of a cult thing??If so I am with you as I own and love a 1076 FBI gun.I havn't tried the D.T. ammo but my guns shoot Winchester S.T.'s pretty well.Good luck,Rcci.

This afternoon I found a consignment 1076 at my local candy store. It is a new in the box unfired 1076 SN TFE586x for $690

It has the matching original box with serial numbers with oil paper, 2nd mag and original cleaning kit.

Is this a great price, a good price or an OK price just if I really like it?
