Back in August I bought a shield 40. Handled it for a while, dry fired the **** out of it and all that stuff. Started to notice that the trigger had a slight pull to the right when fired. I did not think to much about it. After a few weeks I got to get it out and shoot it I did not notice the pull really but I was not shooting paper just some steel. I had it up for a while after that. But now that my kiddo is a little older I take it out a few times a week to dry fire it. After reading a similar post on here and trying to copy what was said I still have the pull.
I am looking for help on either my pull my grip of a new trigger that will not break the bank. Something in the $40 range it possible.

Right handed pulling straight right is usually squeezing your thumb or too much trigger finger.

agree with "J Frame", sounds like you need to adjust your grip and your trigger finger placement and trigger press.

shoot some paper targets at about 7 yards, from a bench rest if possible, that way you try to isolate just the trigger press of the pistol. Then, based on shot placement, adjust trigger finger until shots line up.

There could be a slim chance the sights are misaligned, but let's focus on shooting fundamentals first before adjusting the equipment.

Is there a good replacement out there that won't break the bank. I have heard apex is one of the best for the shield. But is there any other alternatives for less the price.

What do you mean "it has a slight pull to the right"? Do you mean it shoots to the right, or the trigger puls back crooked?
