The Tampa gun show is this weekend (10-11) and I'll have to admit some surprise at how good it was. I saw a lot of very nice Smiths and bought a 64-2 2" gun. I saw a 3", and at least 3 old M&P 2" guns, one even with a round butt! I thought most prices to be reasonable, which probably means I'm adapting to S&W price reality a bit!

I'm surprised at the good report from the Tampa show.

I took today off from shooting trap (we start two weeks straight of shooting on Monday) and considered the Tampa show and the little one down in Bradenton.

But, my wife is out in Denver and me and the dog just lazed (is that a word?) around the house and the most important thing I did was to reset all the clocks to DST so I don't miss early Church tomorrow.

I have kinda given up on the shows, but, maybe I'll give the next one in Tampa a try again.

Same Suncoast show as Tampa at Lakeland show last week was a joke. More jerky, backpacks and t-shirts than I've seen in a long time. Waste of entry fee.

Thats surprising as I have always found that show to be a circus! super crowded with baby strollers and crying children and lots of flea market junk. Not to mention prices have always been really outlandish!
Glad you had a good experience tho. I'll stick to some of the smaller shows, the ones put on by Two Guys have been excellent.
