I don't know when it happened, but Tapatalk for Android is free now. Just installed it. Beats spending $2.99.

It's a smart phone application that makes it easier to use this forum on a small screen. It works especially well when checking posts that are new since your last visit. It's not perfect for everything, but it does load fast.

Basic tapatalk has been free for about a year now. Pro and/or Version 4 costs $$$.

They ran Pro free for a couple weeks thus past summer and then it was a pay-for. I ran it and hated it. I find the basic free version much better.

I'm on my Nook now and when I go to the Forum it asks me if I want Tapatalk. What is the difference?
I haven't tried it yet. Got the Nook free. I'm kind of a dinosaur. Still listen to 8-Track tapes.

I tried it on my new phone and the forum didn't even look right so, I uninstalled it and went back to normal in browser viewing.

Now if we can only get everyone who uses it to delete the default message it prints, after every post. You folks know that you can go into settings and change that, right?
